We’ve done it. We’ve made it to the last month of 2017. I started this series in April and I haven’t missed a month since I started. Let’s just ignore the fact that I haven’t really posted anything else this year except for these monthly calendars, ok? I’ve decided I’m still calling this a personal win for 2017.
After having a bunch of stuff stolen from our house in late October, I didn’t have a regular work routine the following few weeks in November (no laptop, no camera, some damaged products). In a way, it was nice to be able to step back and think about how I wanted to approach this last month of the year and into next year as well.
I took some time to reflect on 2017 and set some goals for 2018 too. It was actually really refreshing to be forced outside of the daily "busy-ness" that comes with having access to everything you need. When you don't have all the tools you need to work, you suddenly have some free time to be able to breathe, think, and plan. So in some ways, this forced break was just what I needed.
One of the goals I set for myself is to show up here on the blog weekly, every Monday starting in 2018. I hope you'll follow along to read about things I’m loving, places I've been that inspire some of my work and and hopefully also things you’ll find useful too (probably watercolor related).
I hope that you’ve enjoyed the free wallpapers that I’ve been posting this year. In 2018, I will only be sending out these wallpapers to email list subscribers, so make sure to subscribe below to continue receiving these monthly calendars next year - sent directly to your inbox!
I hope you have a wonderful month ahead!
